Protective Cage for JBL CBT 70J-1 or Electro-Voice ZLX-15

This cage is for JBL CBT 70J-1 Two-Way Line Array Column Speakers that measure 27.4"H x 6.7"W x 9.3D". This cage will also fit the Electro-Voice ZLX-15 Speakers, which measure 27"H x 17"W in x 15"D. The cage measures 28"H x 20"W x 20"D. The cage is designed to use the mounting brackets included with the speaker. The cage allows for 45 degrees of swivel and 15 degrees of tilt that the standard mounting bracket allows on the JBL speakers. On the Electro-Voice, this cage allows for 30 degrees of swivel. This cage is designed to mount directly to a wall or optional masonry mounting bases. Contact us for other mounting options. Cage mounting brackets allow vertical mounting flexibility and are designed for use with ¼” hardware. We recommend making wood bases to screw the cage brackets on if you have sheetrock and stud walls as the mounting brackets are not designed to meet 16" centers on the studs.
