Protective Cages

Our protective cages use a unique modular design that makes them easy to mount and remove from a wall, girder or post to service the electronics. If you use our wall bases, once installed, the base sections can remain attached to the wall while the cage sections can be removed to service the item behind the cage. This avoids damage to masonry walls. Each section is light enough to be mounted using a ladder or the cage can be fully assembled and then mounted. Cages are constructed of 3/16" steel welded rod and typically painted black, although other colors are available. Various mesh sizes are available. Our standard 4" mesh has an inside opening size of 3.8125" X 3.8125". For baseball applications we can use a 2" mesh. All cages are fabricated in Groton, CT and ship either UPS or FEDEX.

Black is the standard color. For a color other than black, please contact us for a quote if a color option is not listed on the product's page.

If surface electrical conduit is used for the device, you can cut a section of cage for the conduit passage.

Cage designs are subject to change. All cages are usually built to order, but occasionally we do have some models in stock. If you have scoreboard, clock, or any other electronic display or delicate equipment that needs protection, call/email/text us and we can usually work up a cage design to fit your needs within two business days.
